I am still waiting to see the benefits of having a Welsh assembly! As ever you have to see through the B.S that is in many respects a form of pacification, designed by Bliar to shut up those who are capable of rocking the boat at Westminster - more commonly known as "Jobs for the boys".
It is all a bit mealy mouthed for the man/woman on the ground! okay I get free aspirins whoopee do, and yet with the smoking ban we have to go cap in hand to ASK Westminster if it is alright. At the moment all Westminster are doing is passing the buck on stuff that has no/little income value to them, so do not believe all that you read - true devolution is a million miles away.
We got the task of saving the world by for the last couple of years introducing a 5p charge on pvc/plastic bags at supermarkets.......and yet 55 million people living next door to us have not got to bother.....yet. The point being; you can see the menial stuff our power people address, living the life as they do in Westminster.....whilst the world burns.
If you asked the Welsh people they would probably disband the Assembly tomorrow.....it is all BS.
Maybe but given this opportunity surely the industry wont spurn it
