Read this earlier this morning - a little shocked he was taken so quickly after finding out about his illness.

I did tell a couple of folk on here that Gus was ill.

Like so much online banter, me and Gus didn't get on to start with, but we gradually warmed to each other and went from adversaries to friends.

Gus was often the person I would point Scottish members towards when needing advice in respect of Scots taxi law and legislation - to which he gave his excellent knowledge and advice.

My thoughts are with Kat during this difficult time.

RIP Gus my friend.

RIP my friend, in my taxing days we had different views on some things but on Scotland become a Independent country we stood together and I will drink a toast to him when that day comes. He will be sadly missed :sad:
