Hi guys

I've just imported a TX1 1998 car to Spain and I need some help.

The horn doesn't work! Any ideas where the horn is located under the bonnet? I can't see it anywhere. Does anyone know what the possible problem could be? Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards

Saj

Thanks Mr T.

I've put a wire direct from the battery and the horn works, checked the fuses and they seem ok, replaced the centre push part of the steering wheel and still nothing! Anymore ideas??

Hi Guys

Update! I finaly got the horn working.

I removed the steering wheel and noiced that the metal ring on the reverse of the steering wheel and the pushpin in the plastic wiper/indicator housing had both perished. I purchased a repair kit on Ebay for 15 quid and voila all sorted!! :D :D

I now have another issue - anyone know exactly where the chasssis number is stamped on a TX1? I'm not referring to the vin plate which i can see on the bonnet slam panel.

Thanks
