As far as I can make out with the corporate licenses in Scotland Mr Villager, it's open for anyone to apply for one. But what you are talking about is one in an individual's name being swapped for a corporate one, and in the process jumping the queue for licences.
That's what happens in other Scottish cities, but not, it seems, in Dundee.
I suspect it's open for any corporate body to apply for a license in Dundee now, but the hassle of setting up a limited company or whatever to apply for a license won't seem worth going through if the license will be worth nothing anyway.
If you had had the foresight to do this when you applied for your license years ago (presumably) then you would have been able to sell it - the corporate license idea was just a scam dreamt as an afterthought to get round the no-transfer rules in the Scottish legislation.
But you didn't have the foresight, so tough.
