Hello

For a few months I've been looking for a taxi app without all the bells & bows but one that will do the job I want.
I've had no luck in this search so I've had my own built.

We are going to start trialing it this week & we are looking for volunteers to use it & give us some feedback. Good or bad.

If you want to help us out let us know and we'll be in touch.

Below are some of the features it has so far

The app is totally web based & works on any mobile or web enabled device. So there will be no need for any expensive hardware devices or pda's etc.

Taxi Software For Controllers & Passenger's

Our system tells you which vehicles are closest to any new assignments. You can assign new collections to the nearest driver or the driver of your choice.

Drivers App

Job Allocation To The Nearest Driver

Accept job

Decline job

Arrived At Address

Passenger On Board

Arrived At Drop Off

Price Of Job

Includes availability / unavailability of driver.

Picked up at rank / cleared rank job.

Help button for drivers should they need assistance of any kind which updates on office controller screen

Driver & job statuses are all updated instantly on the controller screen in the office.

Full driver location History

Passenger's can track their taxi

Works on any smartphone or web enabled device. Add your own drivers & sub contracted drivers to your mapping, view them all on one map & assign jobs to them.

Vehicle Tracking

Track your vehicle's & allow your customers to track your current location anywhere in the UK & Europe. Access full location history from your dashboard.

No expensive hardware needed. Start tracking with any PC laptop ipad iPhone or Android phone.

You make a good point Jimbo.

When an app is better than the Uber one I might get interested.

Any app needs to be a two click booking for customers and dead simple for drivers, cos in the main we are all dead simple.

Jimbo take jokes aside. I am more humble than that. :-o :-o :-o I have most of it done. It is in operation in 5 places on iPads and for drivers only.

Right now my head is deep in other things, last touched code about 6 months ago when I incorporated an O2 tank in the intake & tested emissions on a BMW before VW was discovered. I can say with all seriousness that i can start and stop the beamer on my iPhone and don't need keys or fobs and emissions are lower. I can be silly you see.

I'm glad you asked this question
Because we are on adding these features to the system as we speak & should be completed by next week.

Why not have a free trial & help us improve the app. We're trying to build a system without all the stuff you don't need, but with all the features that you do need.
This way we can keep the cost down to 20p per job With no set up fees.

Just use cabapp. 50p a job and costs nothing to obtain has all you will ever need.
Even earn some cash back.

Promote it locally yourself and take advantage of it being nationally promoted.

Must be licenced taxi though. No PH.

At 50p a job
Per car that's a whopping £50 quid a week if you do a 100 jobs.

How much to be on Radio Circuit in your Manor? Bet it works out at more than 50p per job sent.

As a result, cab:app is much better.

We are now offering free vehicle tracking units worth over £300.00 each to everyone who joins our app all you pay for is the data which is £5 a month.

Our members can have either phone tracking which comes free with the app, or full vehicle tracking for better accuracy.
Passenger's will be able to see exactly where their taxi is and book their nearest taxi directly from the map .
