1000 pounds aweek for petrol for 3 cars THATS BUSY

103p a litre? its still 89.9 at my local tesco (fri night) and diesel 94.9p

95.9 a litre can be had in the north west but most are charging 97.9. It might be wise to keep each other informed in this thread if we come across any abnormally low prices.

By all accounts red diesel is quite cheap down in Plymouth.

i went through Exeter on a job last night, diesel was 99.5p

Bit far for alot of you Shell Bourne End Bucks is 95.9 up the road BP the robbers 98.9

94.9 at the Shell station A34 Kingsway/Fog Lane Manchester.

It's a complicated business, so some of the filling stations have no choice in the amount they charge (rather than selling at a loss) you will be aware of the situation in the rural areas of Scotland, the western isles and the Highlands and islands, they have been paying more for years.

this is is in edinburgh the capital , like most major citys you are always five minutes drive from a garage, but as you say rural garages have no choice but there is a limit on how far they can go, there is a small village called glamis about 12 miles from dundee it had a petrol station for years but like most small garages had to charge more than the average garage prices, as soon as the prices were too dear he lost the passing trade (comuters, lorries, from perth, dundee, forfar,aberdeen) who would fill up before leaving their own town,eventually he even lost the locals ,instead of filling up they would buy maybe 3 quids worth then when in the nearest bigger town fill up, its a shame as the guy who owned it was very popular and at one time it was a very busy garage
