2012 E7 went in to limp mode at 154.000 miles. Booked it in at Peugeot fault code for a air recycling valve so renewed that at £400. Then at 156.000 went into limp mode fault code for DPF filter renewed that at £800. Then at 157.000 went into limp mode fault code for fuel pump and regulator had that done at £886. Driving it today went into limp mode again. Not taking it in yet because I can't FU--ING AFFORD TO. Only done 157.800 mile

Peugeot are absolute to$$ers, they are fitters and not mechanics. Give them the chance and they will replace your cab bit by bit claiming that (apparently) a fault was showing, thus giving them carte blanche to rip you off.

I had the same problem with my (old shape) E7 and did the same as yourself, £700 later and assurances on three occasions that it was alright, I had to take it elsewhere. If it is not your turbo then you could be having the old fashioned carbonation of your engine problem!

Mine was cured with a (not new) replacement engine, running well at the moment. It was recommended that "Terraclean" might just solve the problem (apparently it blows out carbon etc, as opposed to a replacement engine) but soon realised that a valve or so had gone down.

They think i have a hairline crack in the fuel filter housing thats letting in air. so its booked in for tuesday. They are going to pay the costs as i have spent so much money with them in the last 3 weeks. Cab Direct come around to give me a trade in price. 2012 E7 HE SAID ITS THE CLEANEST ONE HE HAS EVER SEE. And i must agree with him its not got one single scratch or dent the seats and floor are like new as it maining only does airport runs 157.000miles he offered me £10.000. I have seen on there website 198.000mile E7S that look like old [edited by admin] for £17.995 greedy buggers. I have also noticed that a new E7 now starts at £27.500 go up £2000 in 2 years

Had a new fuel filter housing fitted another £100 Still went into limp mode Peugeot are now saying that I should renew the injector. If it's is the injectors then they fitted a £886 pump for no reason but to eliminate it a the problem

So they even went back on their word, didn't they say they were going to fit it for free ?
