Because our self employed drivers are just that, self employed, they usually all go home for tea and we don't have any cars from around 16.30 until 18.00.

Out of curiosity, as somebody who drives where PH have meters and I cannot remember the last time I got a Taxi/PH when away.

What methods are employed to calculate fares by PH? the obvious one is x per mile or fraction of mile, but are there any other methods.
