The Japanese stood out cosmetically like a sore thumb.
Today we have people who look the same from half a dozen countries.
What a ridiculous thing to say. Are you seriously saying that you can tell if someone is Japanese just by looking at them because there are no other people in other countries that look the same? You know what they say, when you are in a hole, it is best to stop digging.
As ever sometimes things get lost in translation.
I was merely pointing out to Wannabee that in WW2 that the enemy was more easily recognised i.e (1) they wore a uniform (2) the Japanese look like Japanese, as opposed to say ISIS fighters who could actually come from dozens of different countries. Also as a terrorist they tend not to wear uniforms.
The bottom line being: we are in many respects fighting an invisible enemy. Oh and just to put you in the picture - yes I am saying that a Japanese person stands out more in identity! I have met people from around the world, and you would never in a million years identify which Arabic/Far Eastern country that they came from.
I hope that you are easy with your conscience that many many innocent people will die because another mad politician is in charge - and that you support those policies.
P.S. Just to elaborate a little bit more. The bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were obviously in Japan where Japanese people tend to live, and very few foreigners at the time - The bombs of your chosen leader will be dropped on a far more multicultural country than Japan, with many different nationals (many innocent) being killed.
For years people have talked about a WW3, they have brought in Trident, as they thought that it would be a conventional war......what a waste of money, as we now have a war that could last for a million years......just like austerity......it will become a way of life.
