You have not been in the game 5 minutes!

More often than not it is a pre curser (the way that they speak) prior to getting in, as to how they are going to behave during the journey. Contrary to your perceived knowledge..........you have much to learn Grasshopper.

I agree entirely if they are gobbling off before they get in it will only get worse en route.

well not always is it EG: i have had many people when i have turned up saying something like " where the fook have you been ? ive been waiting 30 mins & your office said 5 mins" took them & explained that the desk jockeys are ar****les & i only got the job 3 mins ago, they normally say something like " i know its not your fault mate but ....... & everything fine, but someone with a cam, not being aggressive, quite normal, saying the taxi service is chit , well like i said , to precious

But I can't understand why he didn't get into the cab which was happy to use the meter?

Because he wanted to be seen as Billy Big Bo*****s.

i can, if he was ranting & raving well he would be told to fook off, but he wasn't & just explained what he was doing with the cam

You really are in a world of your own!

A couple of weeks ago I was in a Wetherspoons pub and a guy got ar$ey with one of the staff behind the bar. He then started to film her, and consequently got his Ar$e quite rightly kicked out of the door...and told not to come back. The bottom line being is that you just cannot go around filming people at work without their permission.

Conveniently you also ducked out of mentioning as to whether you would also like them filming you when you are driving.....and do not come the saint on that one. The guy was a complete tw*t....and you condone it

Is that your opinion or is it the law of the land?

It's illegal to film someone without their consent. Add to the fact that the drivers were in their own vehicles makes it their property.

So how do these TV journalists carrying out secret filming get away with it then ?

A licence from the Commissioners office.

Show me the law that makes this illegal? If it is illegal just about every home recording of a trip to the seaside would be illegal. That would make the use of a camera on a cyclists helmet or selfie stick illegal. That would make a camera used to record accidents involving your vehicle illegal. SDo i need to go on?

They are usually filming to gain evidence of criminal activity.......totally different! Also take on board the times that even criminals have their face pixelated out.

Grandad. Can anyone film your Council meetings? Can anyone film a court proceedings? Hmm thought not. Oh, and what about filming within a cab?

Phone up the Commissioners office they'll furnish you with the truth that I've posted above. Everyone is well within their rights to ask for the recording to stop if the person recording it isn't registered with the Commissioners office.

If you wish to potentially use the recorded conversation in a court of law, or for other purposes, then you'd need the other person's permission. Many cases have been thrown out of court due to illegal recordings.

That is why I am "Registered" with the ICO, though it is £35.00 per annum, it is not strictly speaking, a licence.

The answer to the first part is yes. Filming and recording are allowed provided that they don't interfere with the proceedings or show the public area. Many of our Council meetings are recorded and made available on the Council website.

the truth? it wouldn't bother me 1 iota once he explained what he was doing, like i said he showed no aggression at all, still no idea why he didn't go with the metered fare offer though :?
