 Post subject: Meter fares

Can i charge more than the meter fare on a pre-booked hire or a hire off the phone (not a street hire)if agreed by customer if staying within the licenced area.

Im in scotland.

so we couldn't charge f/h for people carrier (5 to 8 people) and f/h christmas and new year if its not on the fare card?.

What about if it crosses the boundary?.

in England if it crosses the boundary you can charge what you like - provided you tell the passenger - otherwise it has to be metered

hope not after my new years eve 3 mile job, T2 in LA for a mile then meter off and charged £45......lol
