You know what Hodgson did to us last night? He shown us Jennifer Anistons minge but come June, he will let us play with Susan Boyles instead, i.e, Rooney, Wiltshere, Sturridge, Walcott all back in the team

hang on, we just beat the world champions on their own turf and you pair are not happy. not a good word for us. it seems to be the same with everything. Negative, Negative, Negative. How about you try having your glass half full instead of half empty. Perhaps you could even end up enjoying life a bit.
What happened to the bulldog spirit? A positive mental attitude can work wonders. perhaps this is why our drivers are earning loads of money because we instill in them the positives and don't let negatives even have a place in our lives. You should try it.

I only watched the first half of the England game ( I was going out), I was very impressed. They were unlucky to go in 1-0 down from a shot the keeper would have normally stopped, having said that the German side were unlucky to have their goal disallowed for off side (it was not). The bottom line being is that England showed individual skills with players willing to take on the opposing defence, as opposed to pass, pass, pass of yesterday. When they did have to pass their way out of situations the team played accurately and calmly, from that came a more direct attack on the German defence, also for the first time in god knows how many years - they did not play with fear in their game. Generally a side that scores lots of goals, tend to leak a few at the back, and with the tactical formation that England played, then that might just be the reason that they looked a bit fragile in defence

I did not see the second half, however scoring 3 goals tells me that it cannot have been all one way for the German side.

To beat the German side at any time is a big achievement - to do it in their backyard = sit up and take notice!

It was a good win there's no getting away from it. I bet he doesn't start with that team at the euro's, them upstairs at the FA will make sure of that.

And to do it without the so-called big guns and big earners in the team makes it even better. I bet Rooney and crew were sitting at home watching it taking a long hard look at themselves.

Rooney is past it far better to keep him on the subs bench and let Kane and Vardy start as for walcot even most goofers fans think he's useless !

He is not a player that you can write off! Having said that I feel that he has looked pretty ordinary for quite some time, as you say the bench is a good option, it also depends if Hodgson is brave enough to do it. From a personal angle I would, to then use him as an impact player if and when needed, if Hodgson did, then I feel that it would pay dividends for England, and Rooney, as he would want to prove him wrong.
