Taxi Driver Online

The flights are booked for early morning on Wednesday for me and the missus to fly out to Spain for a well deserved, long awaited week away from it all. I even managed to pick up a fare to the airport on the way out. Things couldn't be much better.................then I get the call. My sister decided to die this morning. I mean, how could she do this to me. I know she didn't particularly like me but fancy doing that and trying to ruin my holiday. Still, she hasn't left anything to anyone in the family and I am not the executor of her will. I suppose I will have to contact the undertaker in the morning and see if she can be put on ice until I get back.

Tell them to put her on a low light.

The only thing that we know for certain is that she wants a natural burial in a cardboard box (coffin) She did say a few months back that she didn't want to go in a hearse, she wants a white van. Still that will be for her executor to sort out. He has to make all the arrangements and he cops for all her money anyway so he might as well work for it.

Why not. It will be a licensed hackney that I will be taking to the airport. Because in effect this will be a shared taxi with the permission of the other people I will for probably the first time, giving a discount.

honestly mate, that just pure greed "well deserved, long awaited week away from it all" yet you still take a fare to the airport on the way? honestly, you couldn't make it up ( i hope you are though )

Why is it greed? I am going to the airport anyway so i may as well take a full car and give them a discount. It would normally cost them around £45.00 and they are getting it for £20.00. None of our other drivers would want to get up at 04.00 to take the job, I take nearly all the early morning jobs as it is.

these days it usually takes a couple of weeks to arrange the funeral so I doubt it will take place before you are back. My condolences for your loss
