My ex claimed she was working 20 hours a day as a ph driver. For a gross income of about £20k a year and under 30,000 miles? something wrong somewhere. Working can be sitting around at home watching Eastenders waiting for the next job to come in at midnight.
I'm glad I'm finished with the ph game now, rail replacement bus driving, 2x 9 hour weekend shifts, 3x 4 hour nights, take home over £450 after stoppages.

GOOD FOR YOU BUT HOW LONG WILL THE RAIL REPLACEMENT LAST? OR IS IT FOLLOWNG THE RAIL WORKS AROUND ....................NOT ON THE RHDR ??

Following the work around TT; while there's investment in the railways there will always be a need for rail replacement buses. This week nothing, next week nothing, but then it goes potty again. No, not the RHDR, I don't have any miniature buses...

The Dover-folkestone job will be about a year, a firm in Canterbury has the job and pays minimum/living wage, not worth going for. Vauxhall won't warrant replacement buses, too many needed and too much traffic plus plenty of alternative routes, 4 lines out of 6 now open according to Real Time Trains.
I get more from driving buses a few times a month than I have done driving p/h on the Romney Marsh for the last few years. Sheep don't go out very often, and all the night clubs in Ashford and Folkestone have shut down, along with loads of local pubs.
