Rising interest rates would affect people who own 100% even more than the ones on shared equity.

But with shared equity you have less equity. They're a licence for the housing association to take them back at a reduced cost.

Then sell it on again, it's like a bad credit loan for a Mortgage.

Do you have any evidence of this happening?

If the "In vote" people get their way, then interest rates going up in any significant form, are YEARS away from happening. The reason that interest rates have NOT gone up for years - is that it would do massive damage to employment. You might not have noticed but the working populations around the world are screwed to the bottom of the barrel, hence why this mess has gone on for over 8 years with no sign of ending.

It must be a bit like London where you live - many immigrants coming in. London (our separate country) as such never seems to suffer from recessions, as there is always fresh money coming into the the City from abroad that keeps it bouncing along - perhaps that is where you are. I would guess that the likes of London,Manchester, Birmingham and the odd place such as yours are not feeling it. However you only have to look at the state of the Nations deficit, along with High Streets just ticking over to realise that your place is an exception.

According to you on another topic, there are 80,000 empty properties in London alone. Will Corbyn do anything to get these properties in use?
