Anyone has a Peugeot 5008? Can pick up an older one for under 6k. Might do me for a couple of years. Not planning on being a taxi driver for the long term so don't want to invest too much

Yes we have one. We have had it just over 3 years. It has been OK. Parts can be a bit steep though.

What's the boot space like? Is there any space with the extra seats in?

There is no real luggage space with all 6 seats up.

local guy was renting @ £320/week just add fuel (£15,000)

bought a 65 plate Passat at £320 a MONTH, insurance £5000 (year 1) and PDA at almost £8000 a year plus services, plus tyres, etc..... = £13000

The car (£300/month) is actually of little consequence, (£3600 a year) when Insurance costs £4500 and PDA £5000+
