Very good indeed, I can see a lot of time and effort has gone into the publication. Well done.

Theres a slight air of 'anti council' feeling about the newsletter.

I can't quite put my finger on it though . . . :-k

It's very good and I suspect has hit many nails on the head.

Quite impressed with the Jacob's stuff, your researchers should be praised.

Edinburgh news letter. Jacob also failed to address the issue of rising plate premiums, to nearly £45,000, and inflating taxi rentals, to almost £350 per week, which have been used as indicators of increasing demand in surveys [color=blue The Edinburgh News States that rentals have risen to 350 pounds a week . I know Liverpool fleet owners are a right bunch of bA......DS with 300 pounds not uncommon. But 350 thats taking the pi.... . Realcabforce wonders why is about to go pair shaped. plate holders have only got them selves to blame .STREETCAR

Every Edinburgh Councillor has now received a PDF copy with a hard copy to follow Monday/Tuesday next week.

Our band of dissenters seems to be growing, none to chuffed about their prospects of paying higher rentals and plate premiums.

So far everyone we have tested with a copy agrees and is not to chuffed when they see it in black and white.

Had the press on the phone twice, keep your eye out on the Evening News I think they are going to cover my old story of of slapping the cabby first.

They also spoke about the Electromagnetic Health Scare article. [edited by admin] and fan springs to mind.

What has some of that got to do with your average cabby who just goes out and does his job to the best of his or hers ability.

It seems to be more about vengeance and spite against the council  it's all to reactionary for me, something bad happened to me so everyone must suffer the consequences, Hell hath no fury like a taxi driver scorned kind of thing.

There may be problems in the taxi trade but telling us who should and should not be resigning their positions from the Council aint going to help anyone.

Everyone will have the chance to vote them out, if that is their wish, in 18 months time, until then I would learn to except it.

Shame really a document with some reasonable stuff ruined by Political bias.

Yes GBC I think you may have a point, the word Council or councillor appears approx 119 times over the 8 pages!

mulligan should resign becouse he just backed a known and convicted criminal, all this when the chief constable objected, and mr mulligan being on the police board,if he shouldnt resign why not ?

seems you dont need to learn to accept anything william, youre a master in acceptance

strange how mr kieth bell now starts talking about the issues
whats the matter bell ran out of advice for using the greenways

Quote:
kieth bell wrote on the sewing bee

Has anyone who has the system fitted been experiencing headaches, dizzyness, nausea or generally unwell. The Health Protection Agency are investigating the use of these units in close proximity to a person, which might result in electrosensitivity and the above side effects, just as outlined in Fairerview, which both the operators of the system and the Council both dismissed. So why is a Government agency now investigating the possible impact on driver's health if there's no problem???????

oh kieth surely youre not going to try and turn this round thatl make you unpopular with youre council buddies
