The footage shown on the news shows Jezza walking past several empty seats before sitting on the floor to record his video. It also shows him taking up a seat shortly after his recording.
No doubt the footage has been tampered with or rigged in some way to discredit him.

How do we know that the clip shown by Virgin was on the same day that Jeremy made the video,he has visited the North East several times recently.

I think you are clutching at straws. I don't believe that under normal circumstances that Jeremy Corbyn would just turn up and catch the train. He would be booked on it with a reserved seat. Now there is no doubt that on occasions that the trains on this route would be jam packed but My view is that on this occasion he was trying to prove a political point and got it wrong and got caught out.

Saturday 20/8/2016 put daughter and 2 grandchildren at Cupar station,Fife on Virgin cross country train at 10 am. to go to York,it was packed like sardines,no seats available, lack of luggage space, smallest main line train in existence and termination of this train is Penzance,Cornwall,I do not think this is how a National rail service should be run either.

virgin run west coast and have a stake in east coast but Don't run cross country that is owned by ARRIVA UK who are I believe owned by Deutche Bundesbahn German state railways. That route used to be run with sets of coaches loco hauled but to modernise it they invested in 4 coach fixed formation DMU sets which were supposed to compensate for their lower capacity by being able to run a more intensive service. Our local line is the same company and yes the trains are heavily overcrowded on there too

I think we can blame Brexit for that because the germans won't buy more trains with the uncertainty of the vote

No it was not,Virgin in large letters is all that was displayed.

Also it would appear Virgin have committed the cardinal sin of releasing personal data in their CCTV clip of the Jezza story, they are under investigation and could be fined up to £500,000.

I here the story has changed a bit today. It wasn't that there were no seats available but there were not 2 seats together for Jezza and his wife.

Its 2016 - it isn't an outrageous expectation is it?

That is not the point is it. The claim was that the train was ram packed when it wasn't. If you want to sit together you book your seats, you don't leave it to chace on a train that is quite often very busy.........................Unless you are trying to make a political point.

It would appear that you only believe what you want to believe,Virgin also changed their story and would appear to have broken the LAW in releasing that video clip, these incidents occur most probably due to *spin doctors* not only do all political parties and governments have them but most big companies employ them also, prime example is the exhaust emissions fiasco, which by the way we are still waiting of this government (TORY)to act upon
