Hi guys

Newbie on here so please bear with me! I am about to start applying for a taxi or PH licence.

I saw the DVSA taxi test is being scrapped. But everything seems to have gone really quiet after DVSA dropped the bombshell. Does anyone know who/what is supposed to be replacing it? Maybe RoSPA or similar?

Thanks

I think different councils are using different firms, so best ask the council you are applying too, hopefully they might have made arrangements.

I know my council have made arrangements but I'm buggered if I can remember who it is. But I'm pretty sure it is one of the safety people.

Thanks, does anyone know about TfL? Have they decided who to use for their tests yet?

Yes - but I think it's only for taxis not PH:

Looks like DIAmond are the main non-DSA taxi test provider at the moment...
