I wonder how many will be running unbeknown to them without cover from the 26th of October

If all policy holders have had a letter there should be none that don't know. :?

It came in a plane white envelope, mine is paid up until the end of April next year, almost binned it thinking it was the usual junk mail,
Called PATONS, and they said they will find a company to take over on the 26th and I should receive a refund of any left over months, and that I might have to take out a new policy from that date, but with the protected 36 years NCB I have already earned

I didn't get a letter from my broker first I found out was on here.
Did get an email in July but missed it as they were sending out a lot of marketing emails at the time.

Well pleased my broker InsureTaxi have negotiated a deal with AXA for them to take over the remaining 5 months of my policy and here's the best bit I don't have to pay a penny.
The FSCS have agreed to pay the compensation directly to my broker and they will use this to fund the remainder of the policy and if nessecary they will make up the shortfall themselves.
I don't know if it's just InsureTaxi's customers who are being offered this deal or it's more widely available but my broker said the deal is limited to the Bollington policies and the Orbit policy holders have to cough up.

Heres the killer

It seems the trade and Gibraltar finance commission knew in January and were watching the firm

plus....the parent company have shut Enterprise and opened a NEW underwriters

my new broker said he had heard, but kept selling the policies "cos it was an earner"

I thought that they opened the new company before they closed Enterprise.

I would not trust or use the broker who was selling dodgy policies known the company was going bust just to get his commission, self interest means more to him than looking after the policy holder.
