I want to book my Practical test online with Diamond which says ounce paid for the test the examiner will contact me in a few days I phoned Diamond and was told the examiner is in Milton Keynes i live 20 miles away in Wellingborough. Does anybody no if the test is independent driving or directed by the examiner?

Similar to a DVLA test, so you are directed.

On the Direct Gov site its says What the assessment involves
The assessment lasts for about 40 minutes. but the Diamond Advanced Motorists site says the assessment is 60 minutes.

and what is your point... i bet you can drive so what's a problem how long it takes. mine was not more than 15 mins when he realized that i know what i'm doing. local driving instructor (Dutch) accepted by local council.

Yes i can drive and have been driving for 12 years . Your driving test being no more than 15 minutes are you sure you didnt Bribe him?

no, i didn't, i'm sure... 8) just checked on a council website and according to licencing conditions it should be 90 minutes...

some council/licencing conditions require driving assesment for new drivers just to check their driving ability...
