If they were to be doing this kind of thing it would just be the cover note that would be issued and sent to UBER. At the cover note stage they may not have parted with any money at all.

If they did that I would expect Uber to automatically disable them as soon as the cover note expired and they didn't have a further cover note or the full policy, what could be more of an issue is forged documents if nobody physically checks them and they allow drivers to email them.

I have never known an insurance company to issue a cover a note without at least a deposit paid :?

Some of my mates have been stopped for no MOT.

When I had PH insurance they didn't ask very much, not even what area I worked in. The cover was "to convey passengers for hire and reward" simples!

Local radio station Minster FM pulls the plug on uber advertising on there station, the battle continues only 5 scab local drivers.

are they new to the trade or switched to Uber from another local PH ? And if so are they earning more or less now. if it's more then others will follow after all it's the bottom line that counts. i fthey are not doing well why not stop calling them scabs and try a reconciliation and persuade them to leave uber
