Hi guys hope all well, recently bought a tx11,now finding out after picking up pax that the rear suspension is quite bad, hitting a pot hole or going over speed humps it's as if the rear seems its hitting and not cushioinging, would it be the suspension i need to get changed? Or could it be something else that needs looking at.First cab so not sure.

Thank you

Welcome to owning a TX where the rear suspension is poop! The leaf springs are naturally really harsh, they improved the design in 2005 after installing coil springs on the rear on the late TX2.

I suggest if they haven't been done fitting new springs and new shockies. It improves the feel.

Thanks Robin,I've had a look and it appears that one of the leaf spring has snapped,it's really bad with pot holes and speed humps,i"ll change both rear shocks and both rear leaf springs Monday, also the cab seems as if something is pulling it back from acceleration,it's quite hard work wasn't like this when I bought it, there's a red spanner and yellow spring illuminated on dash? Just had it serviced but still not driving great. Any ideas?

Thanks

Decoke the EGR mate. They get clogged up with soot and can cause a lot of hesitation in driving. It could be something else though but the EGR causes this problem.
