Strangly, there was plenty of traffic until you came along. Coincidence?

It' goes in fits and starts, I'd like to see the stats from the Golden days of TDO.

we have lost quite a few posters over the years and then there are others who will appear for a few days whilst asking a couple of questions and then disappear again for ages

plus quite a few who only come on here when there are local issues to them for discussion

I think Brummie retired and Blackpool visits the site about once a year because he's only interested in local stories

Back some years ago I belonged to another thriving forum - we used to wind each other up mercilessly, it was good fun. However it was mentioned that the topic that it was founded "Traffic Law", on was not enough to keep it going on its own and that we needed to introduce other interests - to keep interest. The idea was binned by one or two who wanted the forum to be predominately about what it was! Time went by and the membership drifted, it lost the interest because you can only talk so much about a given subject...........are we getting there? or is it because there was a lot of other distractions over the Christmas/New Year period.

I would hazzard a guess that the last real interest on here, (numbers of members having an input), was "Political", and not Taxiing.

I suspect that was due to a link shared around by many rather than everyone desperate to read up on our rubbish.
