when i started taxi driving again i took out a capital one card, the limit is £200, just to cover for the odd tyre etc, never used it but its showing as a negative on clearscore, you know what this is then? like i say never used it :? oh & i am the same as you 453 not 455 :lol: see, we have more in common than you think my credit buddy :lol: :lol:

Closing the account would be bad. To increase your score you need to use your card at least once a month and pay it off in full. Doing this will show that you can use one responsibly.

I think it would depend on the lender and how much you wanted to borrow. The other thing to bear in mind is the interest rate that you would be offered will be higher than most advertised rates because the advertised rates are offered to people who can show that they don't need the money in the first place.

loan was Barclays... granted a £32,000 limit bloody fools
