Things have been very quiet with regards to the new metrocab. I know there has been a pilot fleet of up to five vehicles operating in London since Nov 2014 and last January (2016) they won their court case brought by LTC in the high court regarding copyright design but since then, the only press release has been a statement released on the 28th of June telling us how secure the software used in the new vehicle is. Since then nothing!
With LTC receiving a lot of publicity lately (arctic winter testing on the 6pm news and the new factory opening today) I would have thought the PR staff at Fraser-Nash would have been working overtime. Are they in trouble???

Sound idea, on-board IC to charge batteries (hopefully overrun charging from the motors) and any solar panels would all help, it doesnt take much of a genny engine to kick out 240v

*thinks*.... if the genny doesnt directly power the drive wheels is road fuel duty payable on the fuel, or could red diesel be used?...
