the decision to drop the triple tax pledge, ditch the triple lock on pensions and to make the elderly pay more towards social care speaks volumes.

Please explain the difference between what happens now regarding your home and savings when you require care and what is being proposed.

I believe that the question asked was to explain the difference between how people pay for their care now and what is being proposed dumbass.

The Torys are going to cease the triple lock -

The Tory's are going to put pensioners through an embarrassing and demeaning means test to get a winter fuel allowance

People with more than £100,000 in assets will have to pay for their own care out of the value of their homes rather than relying on the council to cover the cost of visits by care workers.

Here you go.

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... rew-dilnot

Now do you think its right for people who have been paying national insurance and income tax all their lives to pay for their care (which they already paid for).

Personally I see this as attacking the old - just like the remain campaign did during the referendum - it appears to be a Tory thing.

The Tories do not want the populace to be well educated or healthy as that is when we are dangerous to their ideology,21st century Britain substantial portion of the population having to use food banks whether working folk or not,NHS waiting queues growing by the day,GP doctors appointments virtually impossible to get when you need one, young and old and those in between are loosing out on everything the Tories are proposing or doing, their 5% rich and big business friends are being looked after and the wealth gap is most certainly widening.
It will only be a matter of time before this lot suggest bumping you off when you reach a certain age.

If you wish to be given £7.6 million pound of tax payers money to do up your house become a Tory MP (leech) as it has just been announced that a serving MP.s wife has just been given this sum of money.

This was not in the Tory manifesto, secret dealings again.looking after the rich at the expense of the young and aged persons.
