I blame electric windows. When I had manual windows they hardly ever touched them, now with electric they just HAVE to press the button. But not just open or close, down a little, stop, down a little more, stop, all the way down, a little bit up, down, up....

And what a blessing it is the little button on my armrest that stops that, and also locks the door.
