ECC to retain limit on Taxis in Edinburgh, good news considering the saturation of gas guzzling aged PH vehicles, the number of transport/roadworks and the proposed 2nd tram line, our council now should be looking to stop the growth in PH and outlaw the use of price surging within the PH industry, the fight for a level playing field continues.

Did you not tell everyone on another thread that you were making more money than ever and that Edinburgh is BOOMING?   Despite the fact that your radio position is worthless and your plate "value" is falling like a bag of rocks. #-o #-o #-o #-o

Dougie, the council is not doing your trade any favours they are strangling the life out of it by encouraging the growth in PH/UBER. #-o #-o #-o #-o

Out of 1316 black cab licenses over 900 are in one or the other Co-ops Gary, the value of the radio position is down to the other 416 licenses working the street/gett, the drop in value has nothing to do with any other factor you can make up, simple  The value is in the work we are covering, over the last 5 months no one can seriously say our trade is struggling, unless of course it's an out of the trade bitter man like yourself

Deary me Dougie, listen to what you are saying

And the drop in your plate scarcity "value" should we just call that UBER? #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

So in your world, the value of the work you are covering is forcing the scarcity "value" of your plate and radio position, down? #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o  In other words, your success is killing you.
