Does it always run lumpy in stop start traffic or is it just when it's cold? Or first couple miles.

After driving a while when the engine has warmed up then it starts in stop/start traffic. I get alot of vibration and sounds like its about to stall

Weird. I get that but when it's cold and it eventually stops when it's warm or a couple miles down the road. Mines auto doesn't do it as mich if it's in neural say at traffic lights.

Right so after a few months of dealing with it i have a more detailed prognosis and some things have changed

So its mainly when the engine is hot and very rarely when its cold. When you put it in park or neutral after about 20 seconds of it being park or neutral the rough tick over occurs. Occasionally it will do it in drive when im in stop / start traffic when im moving slowly

So are we still thinking timing chain?
I had the fuel filter changed. Also for quite a while the glow plug light has been flashing but it wasnt causing any problem so i left it should i investigate into that?
