The time is coming closer that i will have to retire my Much loved E7 with 313.000 miles and still going strong
But the thought of getting rid of it I'm not looking forward to. As a few guy's round here have the new Ford custom on 17 plates
Oil leaks after 30.000 miles
Adblue problems causing it to go into limp mode constantly. Took ford 4Days to work out the problem. One said he wished he had spent a bit more and brought a Mercedes. Any one else having the same problems with the new Euro 6 engine
My mate has a 15 plate ford custom pre adblue not one problem in 150.000

Mate of mine has a 65 plate and hasn't really had that many problems.

And he is never out of it.

Why do you need to get rid of it, if its WCA it should be able to stay on for at least 12 years

Going to taxi show next week will be looking for alternative to the transit. Yes i could run it for 12 years but at 65.000 a year its going to cost more and more in repairs although its in near on mint condition to look at things are starting to wear out. Looks like i will have to run it till i can afford a merc

Don't touch anything with from Cab Direct i reckon it's them that are having the problems. Have a look at them in Crewe who convert Transits, I've not heard of any problems with them only the problem they had with the oil changes when new but they've been sorted now.
