Another summary application: C.E.C extension of time.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court 22nd Nov 05

Same again, well not quite, should be interesting to see how the Sheriff rules on this case with the Salteri case up for appeal.

Fingers crossed.

Your thoughts gentlemen :?:

Well at least you should come up against a Sheriff that has a bit more sense than that bird, and well done for keeping it going. =D>

But just like the 'walls of Jericho', if you keep walking around them, in time they will come crashing down.

This could be very significant if the sheriff sides with the Salteri case.

And why shouldn't he?

That Sheriff got it right.

Unfortunately, I have formed the opinion that many of these particular Sheriffs lean to one side when they walk. We shall see how fair minded this one is tomorrow.

Things went well in court with Sheriff Horsburgh presiding.

So far so good, this Sheriff is out of the Liddle camp.

28 days before the decision is public.

Did the council put up a different defence to the one that put up against you?

Edinburgh are pulling out all the stops because they don't want to issue any licenses. Make you wonder why they have to employ a Barrister or QC for a simple license extension application?

I don't know yet but what I can say is I'm still confused as to how Sheriff Mackie came to here decision other than to tow the establishment line.

Sheriff Liddle on the other hand virtually kicked the council out of court, work that out.

I think it's a lottery, they're all mad.
