Taxi Driver Online

A taxi in Stamford had it's drivers window smashed in the early hours of Monday morning and a small quantity of change left in the vehicle was stolen.

The driver an ardent Arsenal fan (known locally by the nickname Victor Meldrew) believes it might have been a spurs fan jealous of Arsenals good run of form this season since the amount stolen was very small

The vehicle is currently having to work with an opaque heavy duty polythene sheet taped to the side of the vehicle until a replacement window can be fitted making visibility limited on that side of the vehicle

I think if it was a spurs fan the back window with the sticker in it would have been smashed instead

well he's got his window fixed but theres a lovely great stripe where the gaffer tape that held the polythene in place has damaged the paintwork
