There's a short video of the mum giving her side of the story on the website 8-[

Unfortunately there's no video or other evidence regarding the actual incident 8-[

But clearly she thinks the incident worthy of police involvement, and that the driver should lose his badge 8-[

Foul-mouthed taxi driver calls Hull mum 'fat b***ch' as her children play in leaves near his car

She claims the taxi driver didn't hold back

A disgruntled mum is calling for a taxi driver to be sacked after claiming he branded her a "fat b***h" when her children kicked leaves at his car.

Shauna Stephenson, 26, alleges she was thrown the insult by an irate 35 taxi driver after some leaves landed on the vehicle in Peel Street.

Shauna says she was blasted with the foul mouth rant and was told to "control your kids" as the taxi driver pulled up alongside her as her two children played in the leaf-scattered pavement on the way home from school.

She says her eldest child, seven-year-old Sophia, was kicking leaves at her younger sister on the path when some of the leaves brushed the taxi as it passed them and the driver pulled up alongside the young family.

Shauna, of Hutt Street, claims the driver then repeatedly swore at her and then shouted "get out of the road" at Sophia - leaving the Pearson Primary School pupil in tears. She said: "I think it's disgusting how this driver is driving around and giving fares to people - and he's this rude."

"I couldn't believe it - and it really upset my daughter. It was only leaves.

"He called me a fat b***h and I was just totally gobsmacked by it all, then he drove off.

"To call me that and tell me to control my kids is just bang out of order."

Shauna, who is also mum to three-year-old Olivia, said she wanted the driver to lose his taxi licence over the abuse she suffered at arround 3.45pm on Wednesday afternoon.

She also alleged that her daughter Sophia had ran home in tears after being told to "get out of the road" by the man, believed to be in his 40s, and was on shift at the time. She added: "It's just totally unacceptable and he should get the sack for this - this isn't how you talk to people."

35 Taxis have already spoken to Shauna to try and attempt to appease the situation following the incident. A spokesperson for 35 Taxis declined to comment on the incident.

So it's alright to abuse the drivers car but to be told the truth

seriously though perhaps the wrong thing to do maybe have a word with socuial services about the way mum is encouraging the child to behave in an antisocial manner

Worth watching the video of the driver - sounds quite articulate and plausible.

And if the driver had really said what the mother accused him of, her reaction - and the tears in the video in particular - seem way over the top. I mean, if everyone ran to the papers every time something like this happened...

In fact the story is on the Sun and Metro websites now, but what's the betting the driver's side of things doesn't make it beyond the Hull Daily Mail :?

Taxi driver accused of calling Hull mum 'fat b***h' speaks out

The driver has hit back

The taxi driver caught up in a row with a mum whose kids "kicked leaves at his car" claims she told him to get back to his country.

Hull mum Shauna Stephenson accused 35 Taxis driver Sayed Sadaat of calling her a "fat b***h" after her children kicked leaves at his car on Wednesday afternoon.

But Mr Sadaat, 24, says he never told Shauna she was fat - but did call her "a silly irresponsible mother".

Despite the furore in Peel Street, the Afghanistan national claimed Shauna's child threw a stone at his vehicle before he pulled up alongside her to tell her to control her children.

Responding to the claims, Mr Sadaat, who came to Britain 12 years ago, said: "I want to clear my name. I did not call her fat, but I did call her a silly irresponsible mother because she was telling me to go back to my country.

"I was going slow down the street anyway, about 15mph, but if one of those children came running out and I would have knocked them down - then it would have been me with the blame.

"I told the woman to keep an eye on her kids and she told me to F-off back to my country."

Mr Sadaat, who says he has called the police to report the alleged hate crime, says he knows how to speak to people "in the correct manner".

The taxi driver says he was surprised by the "racist reaction" of the mum-of-two after he told her to have better control over her children.

Speaking about his version of events, Mr Sadaat said: "I looked to my left and knew she had hit my car with the stone, I felt a bang - this wasn't leaves.

"The mum then asked her daughter if she he had done it, she obviously said no, that's when she told me to go back to my country.

"Then I told her she was a silly irresponsible mother and she needs to look out what her children are doing - they were playing in the road."

Mr Sadaat says he is now worried about the future of his self-employed role with the Hull-based taxi firm - but he has said the company has taken his side in the argument.

Shauna, denies Mr Sadaat's claims. She said: "I would never tell him to get back to his country, that is vile.

"In the heat of the moment, I might have told him to f**k off - but not back to his own country."

On Thursday, Shauna said her her eldest child, seven-year-old Sophia, was kicking leaves at her younger sister on the path when some of the leaves brushed the taxi as it passed them and the driver pulled up alongside the young family.

Shauna, of Hutt Street, claims the driver then repeatedly swore at her and then shouted "get out of the road" at Sophia - leaving the Pearson Primary School pupil in tears.

She said: "I think it's disgusting how this driver is driving around and giving fares to people - and he's this rude.

"I couldn't believe it - and it really upset my daughter. It was only leaves.

"He called me a fat b***h and I was just totally gobsmacked by it all, then he drove off.

"To call me that and tell me to control my kids is just bang out of order."

Typical Jeremy Kyle fodder right there. I'm with the driver on this occasion.

Was she poured into that shirt because she looks like a bag of shit?

The fact that this lady went to the press is all the evidence one really needs.

Clearly an attention seeker.

I suspect she is desperately searching the internet to see if she can claim against the driver somehow.
