Have now started licensing drivers from St Albans, they're pretty proud about it too despite them not working in the district they clearly have something up their sleeves.

It's all down to money, and that money keeping the licensing officers in employment.

What's the particular attraction of Ashfield?

Quote from the licensing officer yesterday, "we've been told to increase numbers to increase funds to pay for wages." You just couldn't make it up.

When I questioned the Licensing Officer yesterday about this his words were, "we are a forward thinking Council hence why we are attracting drivers from all parts of the UK." He said that while questioning my right to work in the UK.

Well if there licensing drivers i presume there licensing vehicles to?
I don’t think a responsible council would license Hackney’s to work in St Albans
So they must be private hire working under an Ashfield opps licence.
