Nissan apparently has stated that the electric 'dynamo' cab is coming out this year but, didn't they say that last year?.the councils are all definitely pushing for electric cabs but, where is the infrastructure?.

Infrastructure = council expenditure............councils will blame it's lack on shortfall of government funding

Vehicles=drivers expenditure..............councils will insist on the money being spent whether or not drivers can afford it because it costs THEM nothing

I spoke to the company (Dynamo) launching the new cab a few months ago. The delay has been caused by the introduction of the new 40kw battery also used in the Nissan Leaf. It has a claimed range of 174 miles per charge and is 100% electric. Dynamo have said they expect it to have a real world range of 130-140 miles. It has the 25ft turning circle and is set to be priced at £45,500.

I've just had a email from dynamo stating that the delay has been cos of the popularity of the 40kw battery which is also used by the 'leaf and the E NV200.they expect it to be launched this year.
