Councils operating under the 1976 Miss Act cannot recover the costs of enforcement, on taxi/PH drivers, from vehicle licensing fees.

However those costs can now be recovered via driver licensing fees.

If you mean deemed, then mainly labour costs associated with overtime or extra staffing involved in keeping us on the straight and narrow.

Also it could include costs of court proceedings, and legal advice costs dealing with any breach or alleged breach of licensing conditions.

In fact, IMO, a good case could be put to say councils have won the lottery with this judgement.
