British Transport Police has launched a CCTV appeal after a taxi driver was racially abused at Preston Railway Station.

Two men are reported to have racially abused the driver after he asked them to remove their electric scooter from his taxi.

One of the men is then reported to have spat at the victim.

The incident happened at 3.30pm on Tuesday, March 17.

Officers at BTP have now released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to who may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40.
