Anyone know the best way to drain the coolant from a tx4? I removed the lower radiator hose but didn't seem like there was a great amount of coolant came out. The temp gauge never really seems to get up to operating temp either.

Try a new thermostat.

I'd rather drain the system completely first then vacuum fill it to make sure there isn't an air pocket somewhere. I'll pull the thermostat later and test it first as they're not cheap on these.

Don't know about the tx4 but on tx1 and 2 there is a drain plug on the bottom of the rad. Looks like a wing nut. And take the cap off the header tank
