Again the individual licenced TAXI proprietor/driver is overlooked and gets zilch. This government along with most Councils are hellbent on destroying the TAXI and private hire trades, the number of plate and driver licences issued is reducing on a daily basis.
This latest lockdown will be the final nail in the coffin for many licence holders.
It is up to £9,000 based on rateable value. Councils will also have discretionary grants to hand out to those who apply and qualify. Some taxi businesses here have received grants.
