The rates are from Bolt's pages here (scroll down):

the problem is that customers will assume that if they can charge that little why can't everyone else

Customers can assume what they like. If required, I can justify our fares and can even make a case for them being higher than they are.

well apparently already over 100 drivers have signed up in Peterborough and Bolt are apparently paying the drivers more than they are charging the customer.

Two of my drivers have been "advised" by senior members at their mosque to pack in with us and go and drive for Bolt in Stamford and Peterborough !

They have the backing of the local community so drivers not an issue but my drivers are insisting they have been assured this is only temporary pricing to build the trade and then it will go up !

Neither have opted to move just yet but they are thinking about it.

So the Peterborough launch is also including Stamford, Spalding, the Deepings and Wisbech Yaxley and Oundle

That's what Uber have been doing for years, which is why the likes of Uber, Bolt, etc will never make money out of the taxi/PH trade using that business model.

That's why they're going in via the Autocab route - they can crack open the market without requiring the same outlay  :-o

Trojan horse taxis

They can only be the cheapest if they have drivers who will work for nothing. Just how many stupid drivers are there?

90 at the moment so I'm told BUT Bolt are paying them large bonuses apparently they are taking just 15 percent of the takings but paying drivers bonuses of up to £350.00 a week on top of what they are taking. The source of this information is not reliable though so I am a bit sceptical

I got a phone call today from the proprietor of a local firm who is panicking because one of his drivers is about to move to Bolt so they are accepting vehicles licensed in other local authorities as well as Peterborough plated cars

Uber now have about 20 cars in Peterborough even though they have not yet launched there

Mate of mine spent a few days in London last week, and used Bolt a fair bit.

Cheap as chips.
