Several public toilets in Lincoln are to be closed despite campaigners saying the council has a "moral obligation" to keep them open.
The city council said although feedback showed most people were not in favour of the move, it had no choice because of the authority's "dire finances".
Two facilities will be permanently closed while three others will only be opened for special events in Lincoln.

Our Council think people only need to use toilet facilities between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.
It would appear they are taking no notice of the need under the pandemic regulations to provide toilet and hand washing facilities.

Why is it councils have truck loads of cash for bike lanes everywhere, but never any cash to keep toilets open?

Everyone needs to pee and poo, how can any council think that is a luxury?
