In all fairness I don't know what reasons were given for the implementation of licensing in the trade. It's irrelevant, anyway.

Well, I would assume to stop rapists and thugs driving licensed vehicles, and sh** heaps and death traps from being licensed as vehicles.

Yes we still have some way to go to, but thankfully we have come quite a way.

I think you are trying to wind me up.

You either are not reading what I am posting or you fail to even slightly understand what I am saying.

I put a link in my post that clearly shows licensed taxi drivers being found guilty of raping passengers.

Perhaps you need to look in previous issues of PHTM.

You will find in many issues of reports from council random inspections up and down the country finding a significant amount of vehicles that were not roadworthy. Many vehicles failed the tests.

Some reports were absolutely shocking. Licensing and regulation does not improve standards. It increases drivers expenses and therefore reduces their profit to maintain their vehicles properly amongst other issues I made clear in my previous post.

But clearly you are not capable of rational thought or common sense.

Rest assured I will not reply and from here ignore any of your future posts.

I have spent way more energy than I should have already in vain.
