Hi

First off I realise I may need to visit the big smoke to find somewhere that can fix my issue

I’ve got a 2007 tx4 and having issues with the thing

Occasionally it won’t drop from 3rd and the eml is on,
Have scanned it and get codes

P0700
P0732
P0311
P2F00

Tried the easy option of full fluid change and filters but still get the light coming on

Reading a little online it may be the solenoid switch pack ?

Is it worth trying a different transmission control module ?

Can anyone recommend a garage I could take it to please

Thanks

Steve

Hi Tone. Am in Weston s Mare near Bristol, have tried all the main gearbox places around here and they just snigger and say nope

The annoying thing is it changes beautifully 99% of the time. Then it sort of stutters and the light comes on.

I am okay except for being bored stiff and you okay I hope

It seems that the gearbox has problems with the wiring getting wet and The product I have listed above is something we used to use all the time on the minis to stop misfiring
#-o I also use it on the Peugeots, spray it on and it forms a seal keeps water Out

Thanks tone and mr T
Sorry I haven’t responded till now for some odd reason it seems ok at the moment ,so I’m assuming your water scenario is indeed the correct problem
I will grab a can of that spray and cross my fingers

Thanks once again for your time and advice
