I disagree.

You should be doing much more than that.

Or you've found a London Minicab driver called Oilly who can converse in English?

Wonders will never cease.

thats a minumum figure £5 an hour....but i suppose yeah its probably the figure you are looking at, any less and you are in the wrong firm.

ummm interesting £5.00 an hour? The national minimum is £5.05 and you get holidays and sick pay. Me thinks if you're self employed and doing less than £10.00 an hour you'd be better off getting a paid job.

 i'm not discussing earnings, but "any less and your in the wrong firm"
Any less and they must be driving a Horse And Cart!

I can honestly say that you should double that as a minimum starting point.

Better off financially maybe. But what if the job you are doing is taxi driving and you are getting a lot of job satisfaction from it? Maybe an alternative course of action would be to find out if the pay situation could be improved first, rather than going off and being an employee in a factory, for instance. :)
