So that was an increase of 31% last year, but slightly down this year
(I think my original quote this year was slightly up on last year, but she rounded it down to £1,200 when I sounded a bit uncertain, hence the very precise figure...)
Sounds about typical in terms of the pattern, and I suppose it could be a lot worse.
Don't know if my shiny new motor last year has increased the premium much, but from what I know about these things (which isn't much) I don't think the value of the car really makes a huge difference

I've always just gone with the Paton's quote. Don't know if I could get a better deal by shopping around a bit, but in the grand scheme of things I'm probably still not paying that much...
