(And the reason I've just used the word 'driver' in the thread title, as opposed to 'taxi driver', is because presumably the job is implied by the purpose of this forum, and readers don't need that specific detail pointed out

On the other hand, readers of the Worcester News require the term 'taxi driver', because they need a greater degree of, er, specificity

Officers are keen to identify two people in relation to an assault which took place in Worcester.On Saturday 11 October, a taxi driver was assaulted on Liverpool Road around 11.10pm following a disagreement over the fare.
The victim, a man in his 30s, required medical treatment after he was punched and kicked during the incident.
The two people pictured were said to be in the area at the time and could have information to assist with enquiries.
