the Hacs have got this train station contract and apparently after research i found out they allocate the contract to the council who then decide who to tender it to...

i got into it and had a word with the guy in charge and told him hac's would cease to exist one day and the way forward was private hire...

anyhow im hoping i get the contract so the PH can get inroads into the town centre, i hate hac's and their attitude.

Can't see that happening, if anything I think it more likely that PH ceased to be.

But that would take more years to happen than either of us have got left. :-$

Before you sign any contracts or pass any money get a licensing lawyer to give you the full low down, cos it's a minefield.

Perhaps its because of imaginative, well thought through statements like the above, that they 'hate' you to.

Just to let you know, in London we have ALL the stations, and very lucrative it is as well.

money talks, and just for the fun of it i WILL outbid the hac's

You cant trace a Hack when you lose summat, and because its a taxi you dont think twice about trying to remember the details to ever quote it when you lose something or want to make a complaint.

and Hacks make more than PH on an hourly basis, and hows that fair? and i didnt feel the need to make a well thought out post but i think i might just do that now.

PH, have records of wherebouts of drivers and who picked from where what and who.

PH can suspend a driver working for them within an hour of a complaint unlike the LO.

PH creates jobs for others too, operators, cleaners and builds up a customer relationship.

the way i see theres room for both, and since im already building inroads into the town centre i got 3 meeting with 3 hotels where i wll ask them to petition to remove the ranks so we could provide a service...

God i love war.

Err, good for you. :?

Carefull you don't give yourself a coronary in the process.

I'll let you into a little secret though, the ranks on the street have Jack Sh** to do with the owners of the Hotels, and if you were to rank up your cars you may find yourself in court.

well the ranks on the streets can be obstructive to the hotels business, so therby an inconvinience as im led to believe by my company lawyer.

anyhow im going to keep you guys updated because i believe this will be revolutionary, where PH can pick from the street too

Ranks are put in place by an act of Parliment implemented by the LA, no poxy hotel or even a poxy solicitor can shift them.

I can't see what your getting at, PH pick up all ready in the street, albiet, with it being booked

So to refresh, the poxy hotels all three of em have nothing to do with the ranks

Hey I'm a Hack, I have no attitude problems, most of my best friends are PH, I drink coffee and take breaks at most PH offices, salt of the earth some of them, more time for a PH man than a Hack tho,

I thought your problem was with the train stn now we have moved on to hotels, I'm one of the hacks in this area who cannot or won't be excepted for a railway permit to work the station rank,
which Stn are we on about??????????????????

hey guys im sorry for the "hate" for hacks, its just recently i dropped off at the hotel and had to stop at the rank because it was bang outside the entrance and the LC gave me a ticket.

i dropped off at the station and guess what? "pull over" i was like why????
oh routine?? so why are the hacks not getting pulled???

and what enraged me further was a contract in town centre was given to the council to tender to ALL taxi businesses, yet the council forgot to inform PH offices? **** s

Write to the council and ask why the PH trade weren't invited to tender, and ask to be sent any future tenders.
