How many PHC drivers have been reported by the cab inspector in the last 3 years for illegally plying for hire?

you paint a picture that all PHC Drivers are "illegally plying for hire"
which is just not the case. i do not i dont need to i get pleanty work through that radio. now what does that tell you.

people are turning to PH due to the quality of motors on the road and the service we provide. Skull has pointed this out a number of times.
the playing field is not a level one and i would say that goes for both sides of the trade.

i think you would find that if you did not have to pay 40K for a plate you would find a decrease in PH numbers as i know a few guys who would love to drive a black cab but for them selfs and not a owner.

Notice youve avoided my point about your exploitation of poor drivers on your PHC

where do you get that PHC drivers are poor :?: :?: :?:

Yes, a bit like the Pre-Reformation days when 'the Word of God' could only be entrusted to the clergy and the Bible was only available in Latin, thus precluding the masses from direct access to it. But the printing press and English translations put an end to all that.

So maybe in a small way TDO is the taxi equivalent to that.

I'll be Luther, JD can be Calvin, and Sussex Zwingli.

And you guys in Edinburgh can all be John Knox. :D

heh can i be mel gibson
or is that the wrong era

yes but why move on you said they were the best of operators.
if they are that good why move.
ross! stand back and read what you have written
sacked, that implies you are employed or at least see youreself as an employee, youre not you have none of the benefits of employment, and all of the pitfalls of selfemployment. the worst of both worlds, rather than the best.

There are several reasons why someone would move stables. And not one of them was the operator selling out.
Sacked is a word you use often. And I responded to your sad attempt at humour.

so now youre stock in a stable, mate youre that far gone you dont eeven see it, if you were black like me, you would call youreself ni**er, thier are severall reasons why someone would move jobs, but to move one job to an identicall job, doesnt make sense especially when youre so happy with youre empoyers, but to do it so many times, are you sure you where not sidetracked by someone who didnt give a damn about you, are you sure it was youre decision, what half a dozen times or more to change jobs for the same pay and conditions, very suspect.

Well thank christ for that.

you are a taxi driver

Pray tell me, on application forms, when it comes to occupation. Do you right "I only drive one for a living."

no i never admit to having anything to do with taxi's
i normally claim to be a parking warden, it always gives a better impresion i think.

i dont have aproblem with owners ross.

Don't you mean RINGMASTERS !

I am here to serve nobody but my family. I pay for the use of another drivers vehicle, to earn a living. I have never had the slightest interest in having a plate. I myself and a big majority of others are happy with the current situation. If you can't accept that, well hard lines.
If your read my post's on Fasties you would see that I actually say if Ali-t gets his plate fair enough. If you had waited till next year, you would have got it without all this hassle.

ross does that mean you and youre fellow sheep discuss ownership regulary.
why bother if you have never had any interest at all ever.
and ross i dont accept it, thats why i am doing everything i can to help change it, and changing it is.
so is it hard lines for me and people like me, hardly

Ross

Captiain Cab is on fasties trying to stop them reaching for the razor blades.

Seems they are a little upset.

Wait till Salteri punts his plate. I keep telling people, Mrs Salteri didn't know she needed a licence before she applied.

Don't know what's got into them

lol. If you notice I havent answered any of your posts on any subject and until you grow up I have no intention of doing so. I made an exception on this post but it won't happen again.

You're happy to have a dialogue with a criminal thug like Garry Thomson, but you obviously just don't like my question and are afraid it will show your true motives.

There you go, no abuse, no smillies, just a fact and a question, you cant be scared of little old me, or can you?

It tells them that they know f*** all about the PH trade, and they are as thick as s***.

Anyone who knows anything about the PH trade knows that 99.9% of drivers don't want and/or couldn't be bothered picking up the rubbish that use taxis.

But the old sterotype of PH waiting around the corner from a rank, desperate to nick an illegal job, is all that can come out of their thick brains.

So maybe we should leave them to their stupidity.

Typical of the NTA/T&G, coming in giving advice when it's all done and dusted. [-(

I suspect you are an irrelevance to him, so why would he want to talk to you?
