Read the post again. I have stated quite clearly that I do not support any such action. I am just facing reality. Skull and Ali T are not the only thugs in the taxi trade. There are others and it is inevitable that they will seek revenge against those who are threatening their livelihood.
All I am doing is making sure that Skyull and Ali T are aware of this. and they are. What no one knows is the where and when those revenge attacks will take place.
And just to be fair, since turnbull makes sure everyone knows the who, what and where about Ross, I'll repeat that turnbull drives plate 967, skull plate 595 and salteri is with CRT on plate 51 (P129) so we can all look out for them and help ensure their safety.

What I really don't understand with all these threats is that the only people who have done anything wrong are the city council!!

If they had discharged their statutory obligations with due diligence then all these applicants would be getting nothing.

If you'd seen the number of PHC's who on Saturday night were obviously all legitimately waiting on their pre-booked fares, whilst committing the criminal act of obstructing a taxi rank, the rank outside 16 George Street to be precise, who all magically disappearred when a police van parked itself in the middle of George Street outside The Hard Rock Cafe, was just amazing? All their fares phone and cancel at the same time?

As for poor PHC drivers, why is old slapheid still driving a taxi AND trying everything he can to get his own plate IF his PHC is as lucrative as you claim, come to think of it, why aren't the whole of the licensed taxi trade, including Messrs Salteri AND Turnbull buying themselves PHC's Any chance of getting them or you to answer that one.

Also think about where the majority of the guys gettin their breifs come from - could it be the PHC trade. Keep taking the Prozac

I’ve got news for you and it’s all bad. The Ph is a growth industry, 800 Ph and rising. The Taxi industry is losing its share of the market. (Maybe you can see the correlation between the two?) The next time you are stalking unsuspecting females up and down George Street have a look at the Ph vehicles, Merc Vitos Audis, Volkswagens and yes some Skoda’s as well. While I agree there is still the odd banger or two the Ph industry has come a long way in the last 10 years.



Dare I say it? We have less work higher running costs, over inflated driver’s rentals, unjustifiable plate premiums, only the psychologically damaged “Taxi Driver” would pay.

No 1 - I take great exception to the comment about stalking. I dont have the kind of reputation like you do, and I never will have. The public has far more to fear from you ya criminal thug.

If PHC is so profitable, why you still "hammering the airport" and not making your fortune driving your PHC which must be so much cheaper. You got some drivers on it who can't pass there breif, and are stupid enough to pay the inflated prices you got to be charging. If they were makin so much money they wouldn't have been illegally plying for hire outside the Dome and Le Monde.

Numbers can say anything, youve never told us how many of these PHC's are on weekend only circuits, or how many have a radio and a meter fitted, so how many are only plated for school runs etc. Also lets see how many of them fail to have there meters ajusted to to new tariff when if goes up. You, Skull and your merry band, will all of course either turn the increase down or will give a discount to every fare. There again maybe you shouldn't do that Ali or Garry will deal out his kind of justice and give you a sore face
